TERRY FOX RUN

Thursday, September 30th, is the day of the A.R.Lord Terry Fox run. This year we are commemorating the 30th anniversary of Terry's Marathon of Hope.

Please come prepared to run (shorts and running shoes), and if you haven't already done so, bring a "Toonie for Terry".

MISSION: BIOMES!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a different part of the world? What would the weather be like? What kinds of animals would you see? Which plants live there? By investigating these questions, you are learning about biomes. A biome is a community of plants and animals living together in a certain kind of climate. Scientists have classified regions of the world into different biomes.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to investigate biomes, then test your knowledge about the biomes by completing each mission.
